Membership Bylaws state that:
There are two classes of members. First class are voting members, second class are associate members and have no vote. Voting members are individuals who earn their livelihood or a substantial portion by commercial fishing. Only voting members are entitled to vote at the annual meeting or any special meeting of membership.
Voting members shall comprise the board of directors of this corporation. You can be a voting member upon payment of initiation fee. Voting members who own an interest in a commercial fishing vessel pay an initiation fee in order to be admitted to the corporation of $50. Other voting members pay an initiation fee of $15.
We are unable to change these fees until voting members vote to change the fees.
